ACT VectorWe are VERY excited to announce that after interviewing several potential candidates, we have selected Academy of Children’s Theatre for our 2016 event.

It is the mission of The Academy of Children’s Theatre to provide educational opportunities in the theatre arts for young people of all abilities and levels of interest; to produce quality theatre for and by the young with appeal to all ages and to expose people to diverse ideas and cultures through the theatre experience. ACT provides main stage productions, classes, performance groups, community outreach programs for children (ages 3.5 through high school) of the Tri-Cities and it’s surrounding areas.

If you attended Leprechaun Limbo last year, you may have interacted with Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Wendy, and Tinkerbell; Anna and Elsa from Frozen; Supergirl; or a couple of Minions. All were ACT high school students. These fine young actors volunteered their time to entertain our young guests and had a great time themselves! Look for even more characters in 2016.

We, along with the ACT staff, are very excited about the possibilities for the coming year! Learn more about Academy of Children’s Theatre and their programs. Although main stage productions are over for the season, they offer numerous summer camps for all ages. The 2015-2016 season of shows begins in October with Disney’s Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.
